A long weekend for you
This long weekend has been curated for people who want to notice birds together in a relaxed, welcoming setting.
The group is capped at 21 guests, with 3 guides, so it stays personal and unhurried.
Birdwatchers and photographers of all levels are welcome. The pace is steady and relaxed - early mornings out birding, with space in the afternoons to rest or explore Hobart at your own leisure.
Experience
Hobart sits between mountain, river and sea. Coastal lagoons, tall eucalypt forests and offshore islands create habitat for some of Australia’s most distinctive birds - including 12 Tasmanian endemics.
Over 3 days, we’ll explore Bruny Island with the team at Inala Conservation Reserve, spend time birding around Kunanyi / Mount Wellington and visit local wetlands such as Orielton Lagoon.
There’s time for a shared meal and a light-hearted trivia night to celebrate National Bird Week and the Aussie Bird Count.
