Dr Marian Weaving worked in the community sector for more than 20 years before changing tracks to follow her passion for the natural world. After completing a Diploma in Natural Resource Management, she went on to study Environmental Science, Honours and a PhD on Tawny Frogmouths. Marian later taught at Monash University, sharing her love of nature with students. She has recently moved to New Zealand and continues her commitment to conservation and bird research.
