Christine Parrott works in a non-birding career and appreciates birds on the side, although many times she wishes it was the other way around! As an adult birdwatching convert, she is still full of enthusiasm for all birds, even the common ones. During the first Victorian COVID lockdown she used all the extra bird observation time to turn appreciation into a side hustle, producing illustrations of local birds.
