Dr Holly Kirk is an urban ecologist working at Curtin University in Perth, WA. Holly’s research started out focusing on seabird migration, but now she uses similar tools and concepts to help government and industry decide where and how to conserve biodiversity in cities. Working with urban planners and designers, Holly brings her passion for natural history to different disciplines and loves seeing how nature inspires creative solutions to tricky practical problems.
