Birds featured: Pied Currawong, Golden-shouldered Parrot
Adelaide born and London-shaped, James Lambrou eventually found his cultural home in Melbourne. His career has moved through everything from TV production and marketing to interior design and architectural lighting. Now he’s all-in on LYFER, learning how to build a lifestyle brand while squeezing in every moment he can to deepen his knowledge of birds. Birding runs through his life and is his calm. Along with his partner Josh, it shapes travels, creativity, and the way he sees the world.
Born in Hay and proud of his country roots, Josh’s birding story started early, then returned years later with even more intensity. After time in Toronto, he settled in Melbourne, where he works in marketing for an agricultural business and reliably spots every bird in the vicinity before he notices a single person. His passion runs deep, knowledge, behaviour, calls, the lot, and it’s this fascination that continues to shape his world and the part he plays in building LYFER.
